About the game

Signal to Noise puts you behind the console of a small regional radio station in the winter of 1987. When a weather band begins carrying voices from Calder Falls, a town that flooded decades earlier, you start recording, filtering, and splicing the transmissions to figure out who is speaking and why.

Puzzles are built around real-feeling audio tools: equalizers, reel-to-reel tape, a frequency dial that rewards patience. Clues are rarely spelled out; instead you cross-reference what you hear with station logs, phone calls, and the notes taped to the studio wall.

The story unfolds over seven nights and runs roughly eight to ten hours, with a few branching conclusions depending on which voices you choose to believe.

Signal to Noise review: a mystery you solve with your ears

Lena Park

Signal to Noise is an atmospheric, genuinely original mystery that turns audio tools into puzzles and patience into a skill. A few logic leaps and a rushed final night keep it from greatness, but its best moments are unforgettable.
