GamingNews is an independent publication covering video games every day: the news, the releases and the people who make them.
What we do
We publish daily news, reviews, guides and features across PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo. Our goal is simple: tell readers what happened, why it matters, and whether a game deserves their time and money.
Every review states the platform we played on, how long we played, and whether the publisher supplied the copy. Every correction is noted on the story it affects.
How we’re funded
GamingNews is supported by advertising, clearly labeled sponsored content and affiliate links in buying guides. Advertisers never see stories before publication and have no say over coverage or scores. Read the details in our editorial policy.
Maya sets the editorial direction for GamingNews and still insists on playing every game that lands on the cover. She has a soft spot for sprawling RPGs, a hard line on review integrity, and a tendency to argue about save systems at dinner.

Daniel runs the news desk, which mostly means reading release-date fine print so you don’t have to. Off the clock he plays fighting games badly and racing games surprisingly well.
Covers: News, Release dates, RacingWith GamingNews since 2020
Ingrid oversees every scored review on the site and writes a healthy share of them, with a particular weakness for action RPGs and anything with a good parry. She believes a review should tell you who a game is for, not just whether it’s good.
Covers: Reviews, Action RPGs, AccessibilityWith GamingNews since 2019
Theo builds the walkthroughs, build planners, and boss breakdowns that live in our guides section. If a game has a hidden room behind a breakable wall, he has probably hit that wall with every weapon to be sure.
Covers: Guides, Metroidvanias, StrategyWith GamingNews since 2021
Priya covers PC performance, hardware, and the settings menus most people skip. Her test bench has more cables than she will admit, and she reviews racing and simulation games with a frame-time graph open at all times.
Covers: Hardware, PC performance, Racing & simulationWith GamingNews since 2020
Sam writes news, features, and reviews, gravitating toward horror, roguelites, and anything that punishes overconfidence. He keeps a running spreadsheet of every run he has ever lost, and it is long.
Covers: Reviews, Horror, RoguelitesWith GamingNews since 2022
Lena writes about narrative games, cozy games, and the small design choices that make a world feel lived in. She also contributes previews from the indie scene and has never once skipped a cutscene.
