Stranded after the colony ship Cicada diverts course and crash-lands on the ocean moon Proteus, the player must survive extreme pressure and contamination. The ship’s AI restores consciousness into new bodies through reprinting, which causes memory loss. A new investigator is printed to uncover what happened to the earlier colonists.

Players can play alone or in co-operative multiplayer with up to three friends, choosing from four pre-designed characters. They build custom bases, craft tools, and travel with a Tadpole submersible through underwater biomes, uncovering the mysteries of the depths. The game is in Early Access.
