About the game
Citadel of Echoes takes place inside a single colossal fortress, the Spire of Aunvar, which has been sealed for a century. Its halls remember: echoes of fallen soldiers replay their final battles, and you can step into those memories to change how they end, opening new routes through the citadel.
Combat centers on a two-weapon swap system and a resonance meter that builds as you parry, letting you borrow an echo’s technique for a single devastating strike. Morrow Keep says the fortress is fully interconnected, with no loading screens between its twelve wings.
Northgate Interactive has confirmed a launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S at the end of October.
Morrow Keep’s dark-fantasy action RPG is finished. Preloads open October 25, and patch 1.0.1 adds a photo mode and a harsher Penitent difficulty on day one.
Release dates for Sunken Crown and Skyhook, a first proper look at Abyssal Choir, a surprise Wildgrass demo, and the rest of the news from three days on the show floor.
