About the game
Ferrous is a third-person mech action game set in a frontier industrial zone carved up by rival foundries. Your mech is assembled from salvaged limbs, cores, and weapons, and each part has its own weight, heat profile, and handling quirks.
Damage is locational and persistent within a mission: lose an arm and you lose that weapon, lose a leg and you are hobbling until you find a replacement on the battlefield. Weld & Wire describes it as “a game about improvising,” with missions designed to be finished in very different shapes from how they started.
Northgate Interactive has set a February 2027 release for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
