About the game
Project Halberd is the working title for Ninth Orbit’s next game, a squad-based tactical shooter that carries the studio’s interest in planning and positioning into real time. Details are thin, but the studio has said players will brief, equip, and order a four-person team before and during each operation.
A short teaser showed close-quarters breaching in a low-gravity facility, suggesting that some of Starfall Tactics’ ideas about zero-g movement may carry over.
Halcyon Six lists the game for 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
