Helldivers 2

Set a century after humanity’s victory in the First Galactic War, the Federation of Super Earth harvests a resource from insectoid Terminids. When the creatures break containment and overrun planets, a mechanical army called the Automatons also attacks. Players serve as Helldivers, elite shock troops deployed from orbit to reclaim territory.

Squads of up to four players select loadouts of weapons, armor, and stratagems, including orbital strikes, supply drops, vehicles, and turrets. Friendly fire is always active, so teammates must coordinate. A persistent galactic war is shaped by community-wide performance, which determines which planets are liberated or lost.
