Titan Quest II is now available to pre-order on Xbox Series X|S ahead of its January 19, 2027 launch on the platform, publisher THQ Nordic and developer Grimlore Games announced on Xbox Wire.
There are two editions. The Standard Edition costs $59.99 (€59.99), and owners of the original Titan Quest on Xbox get a 10% loyalty discount on it. The Ultimate Edition costs $79.99 (€79.99) and adds the original Titan Quest with its Ragnarök and Atlantis expansions, which can be played as soon as the pre-order is placed. Both editions come with a Cosmic Turtle Companion as a pre-order bonus and 96 hours of early access. According to the post, that means players can start on January 15, 2027.
The sequel is an action RPG set in a reimagined ancient Greece. Players try to stop Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution, from corrupting the Threads of Fate. The game entered Early Access on PC in August 2025. Since then, the developers say, they have added new regions, Masteries, enemies and bosses, along with crafting and multiplayer. With the full release, the story reaches its conclusion.
The series’ Mastery system is back. Players choose two of six Masteries, Earth, Storm, Warfare, Rogue, Forge and Spirit, and combine them into a hybrid class, for 15 possible pairings. Skill modifiers can change how abilities behave, and characters can be respecced at any time for a small gold fee. Any hero can use any weapon or armor.
The developers describe the combat as deliberate rather than frantic. Enemies fight in factions that combine their abilities, and health potions refill as players deal damage. A Rituals system lets players set the difficulty, and cooperative multiplayer is supported.
