Nintendo has released two new trailers for its remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Polygon reports. One of them gives a brief first look at Dark Link, the shadowy double of Link who has appeared as an antagonist in several games in the series.
According to Polygon, Dark Link shows up about 15 seconds into the first trailer, flipping up to land on Link’s sword. Polygon says the same trailer also shows Ganon at a piano, Link aboard a pirate ship, and Link fighting enemies in dungeons.
Nintendo posted the second trailer to its Japanese YouTube channel. Polygon says it centers on the ocarina, the Master Sword and exploring Hyrule.
The trailers follow a round of hands-on previews published this week. Polygon’s Michael McWhertor played the remake for about 30 minutes and wrote that it is “both incredibly impressive graphically and the game now plays better than ever.”
Polygon notes that the remake will be judged both by fans of the 1998 original and by players who know only the newer games that Ocarina of Time influenced.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time comes out on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5.
